A new fire station project is moving forward. Funding for the station, known as Firehouse 10, has been allocated. The design, construction, and equipment for the firehouse will be paid for with $15 million.

Further details about the project timeline are not yet available, but the design phase is expected to take around nine months.

A land donation from P Bar Parks Bell Ranch will allow the city to build the new station, which is expected to improve emergency response times and fire protection.
