Funding is available to manage invasive plants. A cost-share program reimburses eligible costs. Landowners, organizations, and municipalities can apply for reimbursement of up to 75% of treatment or removal costs, with a maximum of $7,000 per landowner.

A total of $140,000 is allocated for this purpose. Applications are being accepted and will continue until the funds are exhausted.

Further details about the program and application process are available from the Texas A&M Forest Service.
