A fatal rollover crash occurred in Gaines County on July 2. The incident happened on Highway 385 at around 6:30 p.m. when a Dodge Ram veered into the lane of a Toyota Tacoma. The Ram then went off the road and rolled over.

The driver of the Ram, a 30-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 13-year-old girl, who was a front passenger, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Three other passengers in the Ram were not injured.
