Ector County Independent School District trustees held a meeting on Tuesday. Superintendent Dr. Keeley Boyer noted the successful opening of Vasquez Middle School, which had a large number of 6th graders.
The trustees also discussed updates to school policies and received a presentation on the district's medical plan. Health care costs are increasing nationally, and the district's medical plan expenses are expected to rise as well.
